Its not very often that I get the chance to build something for my significant other, so when I get that chance I like to go a little bit over the top. For Christmas I was asked to make a simple breakfast tray for her. I told her I could make the breakfast tray, unfortunately though it can't be simple. I had saved a couple boards of some beautiful curly walnut that I used to make the body of the tray. The top of the tray was then veneered in pepperwood burl with a book-matched pattern.
