A while a go a client reached out to me and asked if I could rebuild their dining table. I said "do you mean refinish?" and they said "no". They had bought two 100 year old table tops that were 36"x36" from an old restaurant that was going out of business. They wanted to know if I could turn the two smaller tables into one larger table and said "sure". This new table top would also require a new base. As a special request, the client asked if I could incorporate a part of there home that was removed during some remodeling. After some back and forth we settled on this design. The base is made from solid red oak stained black with the old piece of their home running through the middle
